European PS3 (model CECH-2003B 250GB) works in USA

I recently moved to USA and had to trudge through endless amount of forums and posts about bringing a PAL system to NTSC country and having to worry if it would work or not. So here are the facts I discovered myself.

All this is about CECH-2003B (250GB) model:
- Even though it says 220V-240V on the bottom of PS3, this model WILL work without any modifications or need of current up/down converter, since the power unit in PS3 is universal 110V-240V.
- You will either need a power plug adapter (EU to US) or just buy a new power cable from amazon.com.
- IF you use HDMI, there is no difference if you're in a country that uses PAL or NTSC since HDMI is universal.
- In case you can't get your PS3 to show on the TV in USA, hold the power button until PS3 beeps two times. This will reset your display settings.
- I have not tested this yet myself, but region locked DVDs etc. won't work on your PS3. Games are usually NOT region locked (not a single one I've bought here thus far).
- If you get an American debit/credit card, you can make a new PSN user account to use with American PSN Store.

I don't know if these apply to all later models from what I have (model released in Europe in 2009) and I have no idea how far back these specs go, but for CECH-2003B model I can vouch for.
